VA Professional Benefits

The VA provides employee benefits to its workers that allow them to continue striving and growing. Most workers employed by the agency are provided with a salary in addition to benefits.

As a full-time agency employee, you are provided with 13 to 26 days of paid time off annually. There are also 10 federal paid holidays the VA observes and you’re given 10 paid sick days off each year.

Employees who use public transportation to commute daily are offered transit subsidies to help cover their fares.
